McLuck Review: Library, Daily Bonus and Redemption Rules | Reelaudit
McLuck Review: A Bigger Library Than the VGW Sites, With a $75 Cash Floor
McLuck is a free-to-play sweepstakes casino with 1,000+ slots, live tables and a $10 gift card route. We weigh its library and daily bonus against Chumba and the other VGW sites, and the redemption rules.
Score 6.9 out of 106.9/10
Best forSweepstakes players who want variety and low-cost gift card prizes
McLuck makes the argument for a second sweepstakes account better than most. Compared with the VGW sites such as Chumba, it has a larger library, named game studios and a prize floor that a casual player can reach. It also has the usual sweepstakes limits: a coin economy built to sell you packages, state bans and a slow bank route.
We could not open mcluck.com, which returned HTTP 403 to our test network, so the pictures here are from the App Store listing and the numbers are credited to the sources that measured them.
How the coins work
Like every sweepstakes casino, McLuck runs on two currencies. Gold Coins (GC) are play money. Sweeps Coins (SC) can be redeemed for prizes at 1 SC = $1 once you have played them through once. The no-purchase start, per
, is 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC. A cheap pack is $1.99 for 4,000 GC with no SC at all, and $9.99 buys 50,000 GC plus 25 SC. Sweeps Coins arrive as a bonus on purchases, which is why the pack prices are the real number to watch.
The daily bonus is worth a note. One older source describes a minimum of 1,500 GC plus 0.20 SC per day, but Tech Insider reports, citing PlayUSA, that Sweeps Coins were largely removed from the daily login in early 2026, leaving Gold Coins. If that is right, the routine is now mainly a free way to keep playing for fun, not a way to build a prize balance.
The library against the VGW sites
This is where McLuck pulls ahead. The store listing names Playson, 3 Oaks and NetEnt titles, and Tech Insider counts 1,200+ slots from 15+ studios, with Pragmatic Play, Relax Gaming and BGaming in the mix. The reported library size ranges from 450 to 3,300 depending on the reviewer, which tells you how loosely the industry counts. The store art itself claims 1,500+ jackpot slots, which is marketing, so we use 1,000 as the safe floor.
The Popular tab in the McLuck app: a grid of slots with the GC balance and Buy Coins button visible.
There is live dealer play as well, run by Iconic21 and Playtech per Tech Insider, with titles such as American Roulette and Blackjack Rush Premium. The number of tables is disputed, between 4 and 25 depending on the source.

The McJackpot ladder is the signature feature. The store listing advertises a Grand jackpot starting at 200,000,000 Gold Coins, and Tech Insider lists the Mini, Minor and Major prizes at 10,000, 200,000 and 2,000,000 GC. Those are Gold Coin jackpots, so they carry no cash value on their own.
Gift cards: from 10 SC, delivered by email in up to 48 hours
Bank transfer: from 75 SC, taking up to 10 days
Playthrough: 1x on Sweeps Coins
Limits: generally 10,000 SC per day and one request every 48 hours
First redemption: government ID, a selfie and proof of address dated within 90 days
Chumba, by comparison, asks for 100 SC on cash prizes in our own Chumba review. The 10 SC gift card route is the most useful part of McLuck for someone who never buys a pack: it is a realistic target. But the bank floor of 75 SC is high, and the first payout needs documents.
The things that go wrong
Live chat is locked until you buy coins or reach Ruby VIP level, per Tech Insider, which is a poor way to treat a customer with a question. About 18 states are excluded, including California, New York, Michigan and Washington, and the App Store listing lists a similar set. The app is 21+. Check the current list before you sign up.
The For You tab in the store listing: Lobby, For You and New Games along the top.
Is the daily routine worth your time?
Only as a habit that costs nothing. Logging in each day gives you a handful of Gold Coins and keeps the lobby fresh, but with Sweeps Coins largely gone from the login reward, the routine will not move you toward a prize on its own. Ten minutes a day is fine for fun. If you find yourself chasing the next free spin, or buying a pack to keep a streak alive, that is the moment to stop.
Verdict
Play McLuck if you want a large free-to-play library and would be happy to cash out ten dollars in gift cards. Skip it if you hope to reach a bank payout without buying coins. Treat any purchase as spending on entertainment, because the odds do not become favourable because the currency is called a sweepstakes. This is not financial advice, and you should only play with money you can lose.

Our verdict
McLuck has the deeper library and a friendlier prize floor than the VGW sites: 1,000+ games from named studios and a 10 SC gift card route against Chumba's 100 SC. The daily bonus has been trimmed to mostly Gold Coins, live chat is locked behind a purchase, and cash prizes need 75 SC and up to 10 days. Good free entertainment, not income.
