Jackpot City Ontario Review: Payouts, Limits and Games | Reelaudit
Jackpot City Ontario review: a 1998 veteran with a slow cashier and a $50 floor
Jackpot City launched in Ontario in 2022 with 500+ games and big progressives, but withdrawals take 24 hours to process and the $50 minimum cashout is high for a regulated site.
Score 7.0 out of 107.0/10
Best forProgressive jackpot players who are patient with withdrawals
Jackpot City's reputation is its age. It started in 1998, and in Ontario that history buys you something real: a licensed operator that has not vanished, a mobile app that works and a lobby with progressive jackpots the newer sites cannot match. It does not buy you a quick cashier.
We are writing from published testing, not our own deposits. Jackpot City's site returned HTTP 403 to our test network, so the images below are captures of Casino.org and RotoWire pages, and each caption says so. The figures come from Casino.org's Ontario review unless we say otherwise.
Ontario is not the same casino as the rest of Canada
Start by separating the two products, because most of the web mixes them up. The version sold across the rest of Canada runs under a Kahnawake licence, with 1,700+ games and a 100% match up to C$4,000 plus 190 spins at 35x wagering. Ontario is different. The Ontario site is licensed by the AGCO, launched in 2022, and Casino.org counts just over 500 games.
The rest-of-Canada review. Its 1,700 games and 35x bonus do not apply to the Ontario site.
If you read a rave about the C$4,000 package and live in Ontario, you are reading about a different site. We only score the Ontario one.
The cashier is the weak spot
On deposits Jackpot City is perfectly modern. Every method listed starts at $10, funds arrive instantly and Visa, Mastercard, online banking, eCheck, MuchBetter and Apple Pay are all there. Withdrawals are where it loses points.
The banking tables on Casino.org's Ontario page, cropped from a full-page capture.
The figures, from that page:
Minimum withdrawal: $50 on every method, which the reviewer calls significantly higher than other casino brands.
Online banking and MuchBetter: 24 to 48 hours.
eCheck: one to three business days.
Visa and Mastercard: three to seven business days.
Fees: none.
On top of that, Casino.org says Jackpot City takes about 24 hours just to process a withdrawal, which it contrasts with competitors that pay out within the hour. Casino.org's score for withdrawal speed is 4.0 out of 5, which is kind. If you win $60 and want it back, you can have it, but you will wait. A balance of $45 cannot leave the account at all until you top it up, and that is a trap for small players.
What you get for the wait
The lobby is smaller than it looks on the Canada-wide site, but the quality is higher than the headline count suggests. Casino.org's reviewer says the mix of progressive jackpots is the highlight, with Mega Moolah and Divine Riches called out as titles many Ontario casinos lack. It also credits live blackjack and roulette variants with flexible limits, and the slot RTP table shows Immortal Romance at 96.86% and Fruit Shop at 96.71%.
RotoWire's overview of the Ontario market: 70 licensed gaming sites from 49 registered operators.
Weaknesses are narrower. Live game shows such as Funky Time and Monopoly Live are missing, poker is limited to one live game, and the reviewer wants search filters by provider and RTP. Verification can also take up to 48 hours before a first deposit, so do it early.
Bonuses and fairness in Ontario
We could not confirm a current welcome offer for the Ontario site, and we will not guess one. Provincial rules limit how operators advertise bonuses, so the big package you see on Canada-wide pages is the wrong guide. Check the promotions page after you register, and read the wagering terms before opting in.
On fairness, the same reviewer credits independently audited games and cites an average payout of 97.84%, higher than the Ontario average. That is a theoretical long-run figure across the whole lobby, and a single session can land anywhere. The responsible gambling tools, including deposit limits and self-exclusion, are built into the account.
Who should pick it
Choose Jackpot City if a progressive jackpot is the reason you play, you deposit and withdraw in larger, less frequent amounts and you do not mind waiting a day or more. Pick something else if you cash out small wins often, want same-day money or need a huge library. With 70 licensed sites competing in Ontario, you have plenty of other places to go.
Our 7.0 reflects a safe, licensed operator with a slow cashier. Gambling is entertainment with a built-in house edge, so treat any deposit as the price of play and never as a way to make money. Use the deposit and time limits in your account and, in Ontario, ConnexOntario is on 1-866-531-2600 if play stops feeling like a game.

Our verdict
A trusted, licensed Ontario casino with a good mobile app and rare progressive jackpots, undone in part by the cashier. Withdrawals sit for about 24 hours, card payouts can take three to seven days and the $50 minimum is well above the market. Good for jackpot hunters, not for anyone who wants money fast.
