ACR Poker review: the biggest guarantees for US players, from an offshore room with no US licence
ACR Poker posts over $9 million in weekly guarantees and a $20M Online Super Series, but runs under a Curaçao licence with no US state oversight, a bonus released through rake and a record of past payment and bot complaints.

Best forTournament players outside regulated US states who accept offshore risk
If you only compare tournament schedules, ACR Poker wins. If you compare who is watching the operator, it loses to every room that holds a US state licence. That tension is the whole review. We read the terms and captured the lobby pages, but we did not deposit or cash out for this piece, so payout speeds below are ACR's claims or other writers' reports, and are labelled that way. Poker is a game of skill played against a house cut, and it is never a dependable source of income.
The guarantees are the draw
ACR's tournaments page is built around big numbers. It advertises a $20M guaranteed Online Super Series, a $1 million guaranteed event with a $109 buy-in and nearly 250 starting flights, and weekly guarantees it says were boosted 15% to over $9.2 million. Card Player's review puts the same weekly figure at $9.2 million and calls the schedule unrivalled for 2026.

Low buy-ins matter more than the headline. The page lists weekly events with a $300,000 guarantee for a $109 buy-in, a $100,000 weekly at $66, a monthly $150,000 Mystery Bounty at $22, and Survivor Flips as a short route into the Venom. Card Player adds that the room added more tournaments with buy-ins of $50 or less and runs free rolls for newcomers. For a recreational player, that ladder is what you came for.
The welcome bonus is a rake rebate
The front page offers a 100% match on your first deposit, up to $2,000. Treat that as a ceiling, not a gift. Card Player reports that ACR releases the bonus in increments as you earn Award Points from rake paid. In other words, you get the money back only if you keep playing and keep contributing to the house.
ACR's poker page: 'Real Players. Real Poker. Since 2001.' with the 100% match up to $2,000 on the first deposit.
The site also advertises up to 60% rakeback, though Card Player lists a more modest 27% rakeback as an alternative to the Elite Benefits loyalty programme. The gap suggests the top figure applies to specific tiers or conditions. Read the rewards page before you assume either number.
What offshore actually means
This is the part that decides whether ACR is right for you. Card Player states that ACR holds a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority and has no licence from any US state regulator. In regulated states such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, players have a state agency to complain to. At ACR, you have the operator's support team and your own judgement.
The record gives reasons for care. Wikipedia's account of the room records 2017 allegations of delayed withdrawals, including bitcoin transfers, and a rake requirement before cashing out. It also records 2018 bot allegations, a May 2018 DDoS attack that cancelled tournaments, and a 2019 bot crackdown in which the operator returned $200,000 and set a $25,000 reimbursement cap. In November 2025, Meta removed the brand's Instagram and Facebook pages. Card Player says bot accounts have been detected on the network in the past.
None of that proves a problem today, and the room has operated since 2001. It does mean a dispute would be your problem to resolve.
Payouts and platforms
ACR says it pays bitcoin in under an hour and bank transfers in one to three days. Its own comparison table, dated October 2025, puts rivals at 24 to 48 hours for bitcoin and three to five days for bank transfer. That is a competitor chart written by the party in the chart, so we treat it as a claim. Card Player independently describes payouts within the hour.

You can download Windows and Mac clients or play in a browser on a phone. Card Player notes the mobile apps are not listed in the App Store or Google Play, which is common for offshore rooms but removes a layer of store review.
Promotions you will actually use
The promotions page leads with welcome offers and a Telegram giveaway for tournament tickets. Leaderboards, reload bonuses and referral bonuses sit behind it. Cash game players will care more about the Beast leaderboard that Card Player describes, which pays a weekly prize pool to top-ranked cash game players.

Who should use it, and who should not
Use ACR if you live outside a regulated state, you already accept offshore risk, and you want deep tournament fields without a $500 buy-in. Keep the bankroll small and withdraw winnings regularly instead of letting them sit. Do not use it if you want state protection, if you are in a state where online poker is licensed locally (check your own rules), or if you would be hurt by a frozen balance.
Verdict
ACR scores a 6.6. The product is excellent for tournaments, but the licence and history cap the number. Set a deposit limit you could lose entirely, because poker rake and variance mean most players lose over time.

Our verdict
ACR has the richest tournament schedule open to US players outside the regulated states, and the guarantees are real numbers on a public lobby. The price is regulatory: a Curaçao licence, no state protection, a bonus you earn slowly through rake and a history of payment and bot complaints. Fine for a small, separate bankroll, wrong for money you cannot lose.
